Official opening with King’s Day concert by the Harmony, a speech by the mayor & children’s mayor.
Bicycle decorating contest from 9:45 a.m.
9:45 a.m.: Setting up the bicycles on the Town Hall Square
10:00 a.m.: Official opening of the King’s Day
10:10 a.m.: Start of the National Anthem, raising the flag by veteran
10:15 a.m.: Round-up of the bicycles on the square
10:20 a.m.: Start of the King’s Day Concert
10:30 a.m.: Judging and prize-giving!

Center
The traditional rug market. You can stand in the indicated streets with a rug to sell your stuff.
Note: Don’t stand in front of a store and take your unsold items back home with you afterwards!

Wageningen King’s Day walk 11:30-15:00 a.m.
Hotel the World
The Guild guides special “King’s Walks,” explaining all the royal and other historical aspects of our city. Each time the group is large enough (approx. 15 people), the Guild guide starts with a group for a nice walk of about one hour through the city center.
