Our vision
We see in celebrating King’s Day a distinct opportunity to bring Wageningers together and present a diverse program to which a variety of Wageningen associations, organizations, foundations, businesses and institutions contribute.
Our mission
As a foundation, we see it as our role to offer a varied program for various target groups. We function as a platform for everything and everyone who wants to organize something on King’s Day where we have the approach to guard the local character. Our role is to connect and facilitate. We want to make King’s Day distinct from the Liberation Day festivities. In our PR materials, on our website and Facebook page, we offer an overview of all Kings Day-related activities. Finally, we make a strong effort to create support by entering into partnerships, letting residents contribute to the program and last but not least, motivating donors, friends and sponsors to make all activities financially possible.
